DESCRIPTION

· The 74AC299 is a high-speed CMOS 8-bit PIPO shift register with 3-state functionality, utilizing sub-micron silicon gate and double-layer metal wiring C2MOS technology.

· It features four operational modes: HOLD, SHIFT LEFT, SHIFT RIGHT, and LOAD DATA, selectable via two function select inputs (S0, S1).

· The device includes asynchronous clear functionality and protection circuits against static discharge, offering 2KV ESD immunity.
