DESCRIPTION

· The 74ACT299 is a high-speed CMOS 8-bit PIPO shift register with 3-state functionality, utilizing sub-micron silicon gate and double-layer metal wiring C2MOS technology. It supports four modes: HOLD, SHIFT LEFT, SHIFT RIGHT, and LOAD DATA, controlled by function select inputs (S0, S1). The device features asynchronous clear and is compatible with TTL, NMOS, and CMOS output levels, with robust protection against static discharge and transient excess voltage.
