Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The 74HC4511; 74HCT4511 is a BCD to 7-segment latch/decoder/driver with four address inputs, a latch enable input, a ripple blanking input, a lamp test input, and seven segment outputs.

· It features latch storage of BCD inputs, blanking input, lamp test input, and drives common cathode LED displays.

· Inputs include clamp diodes, allowing the use of current limiting resistors to interface inputs to voltages exceeding VCC.



FEATURES

· Complies with JEDEC standard no. 7A.

· Wide supply voltage range from 2.0 V to 6.0 V.

· CMOS low power dissipation and high noise immunity.

· Input levels: CMOS level for 74HC4511 and TTL level for 74HCT4511.

· Guaranteed 10 mA drive capability per output.

· Latch-up performance exceeds 100 mA per JESD 78 Class II Level B.

· ESD protection: HBM exceeds 2000 V and CDM exceeds 1000 V.

· Specified from -40 °C to +85 °C and -40 °C to +125 °C.
