DESCRIPTION

· The AH3522/AH3524 is a high-voltage, high-sensitivity Hall-effect Omnipolar switch IC designed for proximity, position, and level sensing in various applications from consumer home appliances to industrial uses. It operates over a supply range of 3.0V to 28V, featuring a chopper-stabilized architecture and an internal bandgap regulator for temperature compensation. The device includes a reverse blocking diode and Zener clamps on the supply and output for protection. The single open-drain output activates with either a South or North pole of sufficient magnetic strength, switching on when the magnetic flux density exceeds the operate point and off when it falls below the release point.
