· The bq2205 is a CMOS SRAM non-volatile controller with reset functionality, designed to convert standard CMOS SRAM into non-volatile read/write memory.

· It includes a precision comparator to monitor the 3.3-V VCC input for out-of-tolerance conditions, ensuring data protection by deactivating chip-enable outputs.

· The device automatically switches SRAM power from VCC to a battery-backup supply during power decay and back to VCC upon power restoration, maintaining write protection until power is stable.

· Features an input decoder to select between two SRAM banks and provides a reset output for system power-on and power-fail resets.
