DESCRIPTION

· The seven band graphic equalizer IC is a CMOS chip that divides the audio spectrum into seven bands: 63Hz, 160Hz, 400Hz, 1kHz, 2.5kHz, 6.25kHz, and 16kHz.
· It uses peak detection and multiplexing to provide a DC representation of each band's amplitude.
· Requires only an off-chip resistor and capacitor for clock oscillator frequency selection.
· Operates on a supply voltage between 2.7V and 5.5V, with optimal performance at 5V.
· Features low quiescent current (less than 1mA), making it suitable for portable audio devices.
· The multiplexor is controlled by reset and strobe signals, enabling readout with just two pins.
