· The CS1500 is a high-performance power factor correction (PFC) controller designed for universal AC input, utilizing a proprietary digital algorithm for discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) with variable on-time and frequency control to ensure unity power factor.

· It includes comprehensive safety features, burst mode control for minimizing light-load/standby losses, and protection against overvoltage, open- and short-circuit, and overtemperature, making it robust and compact.

· The digital controller enhances system stability and transient performance, simplifies PFC design, reduces external components and BOM costs, ideal for PFC up to 300 watts.
