DESCRIPTION

· The Supertex HV881 is a 16-channel EL lamp driver with a single common terminal, capable of driving up to a 1nF EL lamp load on each channel.
· It operates within an input supply voltage range of 1.8 to 5.5V and features a low logic interface of 1.7V.
· Designed to minimize audible noise, it uses an external MOSFET, a single inductor, and minimal passive components to drive all sixteen EL lamps.
· Supports split supply capability, allowing the input voltage to the inductor to differ from the device's input voltage.
