DESCRIPTION

· The FCT16500T is an 18-bit registered transceiver built with advanced dual metal CMOS technology.

· It combines D-type latches and flip-flops for data flow in transparent, latched, and clocked modes.

· Data flow is controlled by output-enable, latch enable, and clock inputs.

· Designed for high-capacitance loads and low-impedance backplanes, with power-off disable capability for live insertion.

FEATURES

· 0.5 MICRON CMOS Technology ensures high-speed, low-power operation.

· Output Skew (t SK(o)) typically less than 250ps.

· Low input and output leakage, maximum of 1µA.

· ESD protection exceeds 2000V (MIL-STD-883, Method 3015) and 200V (machine model).

· Operates at V CC = 5V ±10% with high drive outputs (–32mA I OH, 64mA I OL).

· Power off disable outputs support live insertion.

· Output Ground Bounce (V OLP) typically less than 1.0V at V CC = 5V, TA = 25°C.
