DESCRIPTION

· The IS31PW8200 is a highly integrated IC designed for managing multiple power sources in systems. It includes a mini-charger’s path power MOS, eliminates the need for an external diode in the mini-charger path, and directly drives internal P-channel MOSFETs for power path selection. It manages dual battery sources for both charging and discharging, with power path selection based on the voltage of the power sources and the batteries' state of charge. It features an I2C block for communication with the Base Band, providing updates on dual battery status changes. The IC operates from 2.4V to 5.5V and is available in a QFN-20 (3mm × 3mm) package, suitable for temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C.
