DESCRIPTION

· The ISL6730A, ISL6730B, ISL6730C, ISL6730D are active Power Factor Correction (PFC) controller ICs using boost topology for AC/DC power systems up to 2kW.

· They operate in Continuous Conduction Mode (CCM) with accurate input current shaping via a current error amplifier.

· Features patent-pending negative capacitance technology to minimize zero crossing distortion and reduce magnetic component size.

· Includes a 12.5V gate driver with 1.5A peak current for external MOSFETs.

· Offers comprehensive protection features including cycle-by-cycle overcurrent, over power limit, over-temperature, input brownout, output overvoltage, and undervoltage protection.
