DESCRIPTION

· The IXD3220/221 series are versatile step-down DC/DC controllers, requiring only a transistor, coil, diode, and two capacitors for a high-efficiency power supply up to 3A.

· Features a 0.9V (±1.5%) reference voltage for wide output voltage range via external resistive divider.

· Supports switching frequencies of 300 kHz, 500 kHz, and 1.0 MHz, enabling the use of small external components.

· IXD3220 operates in PWM mode, while IXD3221 automatically switches between PWM and PFM modes for efficiency across load conditions.

· Includes soft start (4 ms internal or externally set), UVLO, and integral protection against short circuits and overloads.
