DESCRIPTION

· The M74HCT74 is a high-speed CMOS dual D-type flip-flop with clear, fabricated using silicon gate C2MOS technology.

· It transfers a signal from the D input to the Q output during the positive clock transition.

· Clear (CLR) and Preset (PR) functions are independent of the clock and activated by a low input.

· Designed for direct interface with HSC2MOS, TTL, and NMOS components.

· All inputs are protected against static discharge and transient excess voltage.



FEATURES

· High-speed operation with fMAX = 48MHz at VCC = 4.5V.

· Low power dissipation: ICC = 2µA (MAX) at TA = 25°C.

· TTL-compatible outputs: VIH = 2V (MIN), VIL = 0.8V (MAX).

· Balanced propagation delays: tPLH ≅ tPHL.

· Symmetrical output impedance: |IOH| = IOL = 4mA (MIN).

· Pin and function compatible with the 74 series.

· Suitable for interfacing HSC2MOS systems with TTL and NMOS components.
