· The XL-MaxSonar®-WR/WRC™ Series by MaxBotix Inc. offers high-performance, IP67 weather-resistant ultrasonic range finders.

· These sensors are engineered and assembled in the USA, featuring robust PVC housing that meets IP67 standards and matches standard ¾” PVC pipe fittings.

· They operate on a 3V to 5.5V supply with very low average current draw, suitable for battery-based systems.

FEATURES

· Real-time auto sensitivity adjustment and noise rejection for reliable operation in varying conditions.

· High acoustic power output and precise narrow beam for accurate object detection, including zero range objects.

· Multiple refresh rates: 10Hz for models like MB7060, 6.6Hz for MB7052, and 5.1Hz for MB7051 and MB7053.

· Interfaces include RS232/TTL Serial, Analog voltage output, and pulse-width for versatile applications.

· Operates at 42KHz, providing robust, low-cost sensing solutions with narrow beam characteristics.

APPLICATIONS

· Not recommended for personal safety applications due to lack of self-checking redundant circuitry.
