DESCRIPTION

· The MLX92352/1 is a monolithic sensor IC sensitive to magnetic fields in the X, Y, and Z axes, offering versatile configurability for PCB-less module designs.

· It supports any axes combination on its open drain outputs and features a 90-degree phase shift for pitch-independent magnetic design.

· The device is robust against ESD and EMC, withstanding 15kV HBM and 8kV System ESD, and includes integrated protections like reverse supply voltage and output short circuit protection.

· It can be programmed to function as a magnetic latch, unipolar switch, or omnipolar switch, with programmable magnetic thresholds for each axis.

· The MLX92352/1 processes magnetic signals digitally to output Speed, Direction, or Pulse, suitable for detecting rotation speed and direction or switching on independent magnet positions.

FEATURES

· Triaxis Hall Technology with dual Hall outputs and two independent X, Y, or Z magnetically sensitive open drain outputs.

· Quadrature outputs with a 90° phase shift for pitch-independent design and programmable independent outputs.

· High ESD capability and EMC robustness, suitable for PCB-less applications.
