DESCRIPTION



· The R2A20104/114 series is a boost converter control IC with Power Factor Correction (PFC).

· It operates in continuous conduction mode interleaving PFC for higher efficiency and lower switching noise, suitable for high power applications.

· Current detection in power MOSFET is used for continuous conduction mode control.

· Supports two current detection methods: via current transformers (R2A20104SP/FP) and shunt resistors (R2A20114SP/FP).

· Interleaving control provides a 180-degree phase shift between output signals, enhancing conversion efficiency and reducing ripple currents.

· Includes various protection circuits to improve system reliability and reduce component count.



FEATURES



· Maximum Ratings: Supply voltage Vcc up to 24 V, Junction temperature Tj from -40 to +150°C.

· Electrical Characteristics: Feedback voltage VREF 2.5 V ±1.5%, UVLO operation start voltage VH 10.4 V ±0.7 V, shutdown voltage VL 8.9 V ±0.5 V, hysteresis voltage Hysuvl 1.5 V ±0.5 V.

· Functions: Boost converter control, interleaving control, frequency modulation, brownout, phase drop, external clock synchronization, over voltage protections, feedback loop wire breaking detector, current balance control, independent over current protection for Phase 1 and Phase 2.

· Package Options: Pb-free LQFP-40 and SOP-20.
