DESCRIPTION

· The RAA228228 is a digital double output 20-phase PWM controller with an Adaptive Voltage Scaling Bus (AVSBus) interface.

· It supports flexible phase assignment up to 20 phases across two outputs.

· The device integrates PMBus V1.3 and AVSBus interfaces for enhanced power supply management.

· Features Renesas' proprietary digital synthetic current modulation for optimal transient response and efficiency.

· Includes diode emulation and automatic phase add/drop features for maximum efficiency under varying load conditions.

· Configurable and monitorable via Renesas PowerNavigator™ software.
