DESCRIPTION
· The SM340A46000 is an ultrasonic sensor from the Superprox 300 series, designed for discrete proximity sensing.
· It features a cylindrical M12 design with a fixed sensing window and a plastic enclosure made of ULTEM.
· The sensor operates with a 12-24 V DC supply and provides a discrete NPN output signal.
FEATURES
· Nominal sensing distance of 4.00 in (101.6 mm) with a sensing range of 0.25-4.00 in (6.3-101.6 mm).
· Transmission frequency of 500 kHz and a beam angle of 8°.
· Equipped with reverse polarity protection and overload and short-circuit protection.
· Compact dimensions: 0.47 in (12 mm) in height, width, and depth; 2.29 in (58.16 mm) in length.
