Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The SY89296U is a programmable delay line with a digital control signal, offering a delay range from 3.2ns to 14.8ns in 10ps increments.

· It features a fine tune control via the FTUNE pin, allowing continuous delay adjustment within a 40ps range.

· Operates with LVPECL input signals and supports 2.5V ±5% or 3.3V ±10% power supplies, ensuring performance across the industrial temperature range (-40°C to +85°C).

· Includes a 10-bit control word for precise delay settings, with an additional bit for cascading to extend the delay range.

· Defaults to a low state when input pins are left floating and accepts CMOS or TTL level signals for control register interface.



FEATURES

· Precision LVPECL programmable delay with guaranteed AC performance up to 1.5GHz and rise/fall times under 160ps.

· Low jitter design with less than 10ps peak-to-peak total jitter, 2ps RMS cycle-to-cycle jitter, and 1ps RMS random jitter.

· Programmable delay range from 3.2ns to 14.8ns in 10ps steps, with increased monotonicity over previous models.

· Includes a VBB output reference voltage and supports LVPECL or CMOS/LVTTL inputs.

· Features a 40ps/V fine tune range and operates at low voltages of 2.5V ±5% and 3.3V ±10%.

· Available in 32-pin MLF® and TQFP packages, suitable for industrial environments.
