DESCRIPTION
· The GreenChip™II is a second-generation SMPS controller IC designed for cost-effective power supplies with minimal external components.
· It supports fixed frequency CCM for low voltage, high current applications and operates in cycle skipping mode during standby to minimize switching losses.
· Features quasi-resonant and fixed frequency operations for optimal efficiency across all power levels.
· Utilizes a high voltage BCD800 process for direct start-up from rectified mains voltage and a low voltage BICMOS IC for protection and control.

· Universal mains supply operation (70 V to 276 VAC).
· High integration reduces external component count.
· Supports fixed frequency CCM and quasi-resonant DCM operations.
· Valley or zero voltage switching minimizes losses in QR mode.
· Cycle skipping mode at very low loads reduces input power below 300 mW at no-load.
