Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The TPS82084/5 are 2-A/3-A step-down converter MicroSiP™ modules designed for small solution size and high efficiency.

· Integrates a synchronous step-down converter and an inductor to simplify design and save PCB area.

· Operates in PWM mode with a nominal switching frequency of 2.4 MHz and enters Power Save Mode at light load currents.

· Features DCS-Control topology for excellent load transient performance and accurate output voltage regulation.

· Includes EN and PG pins for flexible system design and integrated soft startup to reduce inrush current.

· Offers over temperature protection and Hiccup short circuit protection for robust and reliable operation.
