DESCRIPTION



· The UDK, UDN, and UDQ2559B, EB, and LB quad power drivers feature improved output current limiting, combining AND logic gates with high-current bipolar outputs and full output protection.

· Each of the four outputs can sink 700 mA in the on state, with a minimum breakdown voltage of 60 V and a sustaining voltage of 40 V.

· Inputs are compatible with TTL and 5 V CMOS logic systems.

· Overcurrent protection is integrated, activating at approximately 1 A, safeguarding outputs from short circuits with supply voltages up to 25 V.

· Thermal-limiting circuits reduce output current in response to rising junction and chip temperatures.

· Devices can withstand short circuits on all outputs simultaneously under worst-case conditions.

· Suitable for driving incandescent lamps, relays, solenoids, and DC stepping motors.

· Available in 16-pin DIP, 28-pin PLCC, and 16-pin SOICW packages with fused leads for enhanced thermal dissipation.

· Lead-free versions feature 100% matte tin leadframe plating.
