DESCRIPTION

· Xilinx introduces the XC18V00 series of in-system programmable configuration PROMs, offering a cost-effective solution for reprogramming and storing FPGA configuration bitstreams.

· The series includes 4-megabit, 2-megabit, 1-megabit, and 512-kilobit PROMs, compatible with various FPGA configuration modes.

· Devices support cascading for longer or multiple bitstreams, and are compatible with the XC17V00 one-time programmable serial PROM family.

FEATURES

· In-System Programmable 3.3V PROMs with 20,000 program/erase cycles endurance.

· IEEE Std 1149.1 Boundary-Scan (JTAG) support and JTAG command initiation of standard FPGA configuration.

· Dual configuration modes: Serial Slow/Fast (up to 33 MHz) and Parallel (up to 264 Mb/s at 33 MHz).

· 5V-tolerant I/O pins, 3.3V or 2.5V output capability, and low-power advanced CMOS FLASH process.

· Available in PC20, SO20, PC44, and VQ44 packages with lead-free (Pb-Free) packaging.

APPLICATIONS

· Configuration of Xilinx FPGAs in various modes including Master Serial, Slave Serial, Master SelectMAP, and Slave Parallel or Slave SelectMAP.

· Suitable for industrial applications with operation over a full industrial voltage and temperature range (–40 °C to +85 °C).

· Design support using the Xilinx ISE™ Foundation™ Software Packages.
