Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The LTC4210 is a 6-pin SOT-23 hot swap controller enabling safe board insertion and removal from a live backplane.
· It controls an external N-channel MOSFET's GATE for supply voltages from 2.7V to 16.5V.
· Features include adjustable gate ramp-up rate, fast current limit loop, and circuit breaker timer.
· Available in two versions: LTC4210-1 for automatic retry on overcurrent fault and LTC4210-2 for latch off on overcurrent fault.
