DESCRIPTION

· The MAX6505–MAX6508 are temperature switches with dual logic outputs that activate when the die temperature crosses their trip thresholds.

· Trip thresholds are factory-programmed in 5°C increments from -40°C to +125°C.

· The MAX6505/MAX6506 feature ALARM and WARN outputs, with the WARN output activating several degrees below the ALARM threshold.

· The MAX6507/MAX6508 have OVER and OK outputs, with OK asserting when the temperature is within the desired window.

· These devices operate from a +2.5V to +5.5V supply, consume 30µA (typ), and require no external components.

· Available in a 6-pin SOT23 package.
