DESCRIPTION

· The MAX7301 is a compact, serial-interfaced I/O expander providing up to 28 ports.
· Each port is individually configurable as a logic input or output.
· Ports can be set as push-pull outputs or Schmitt inputs with optional pullup.
· Seven ports feature configurable transition detection logic for interrupts.
· Controlled via an SPI-compatible 4-wire serial interface.
· Available in different packages: 28-pin SSOP, 36-pin SSOP, and 40-pin TQFN.

· High-speed, 26MHz SPI-/QSPI™-/MICROWIRE®-compatible serial interface.
· Operates from 2.25V to 5.5V.
