DESCRIPTION

· The MAX77932C is a dual-phase switched-capacitor converter with integrated power switches, delivering 8A output current and dividing the input voltage by two.
· It is designed for applications using 2S Li+ batteries while powering 1S-equivalent voltage circuitry, simplifying migration from 1S to 2S battery configurations.
· The inductorless topology reduces the overall footprint and height, while the high switching frequency (up to 1.5MHz) minimizes capacitor size and count.
· It features integrated protection mechanisms (overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, thermal) and EMI reduction through frequency dithering.
· The IC offers a peak efficiency of 98.5%, making it suitable for consumer, medical, and industrial applications.
· It includes an I2C-compatible interface for adjustable parameters and is available in a compact 42-pin WLP package.
