DESCRIPTION

· The MIC5191 is an ultra high-speed linear regulator designed for fast load demands of microprocessor cores, ASICs, and other high-speed devices.

· It utilizes an external N-Channel FET as its power device, achieving signal bandwidths greater than 500 kHz with minimal capacitance.

· Optimized for output voltages of 1.0V and higher, it can convert 1.25V IN ±10% to 1V ±1% without requiring large capacitance.

· Available in 10-pin 3mm×3mm MLF® and 10-pin MSOP-10 packages, operating within a junction temperature range of –40°C to +125°C.

FEATURES

· Input voltage range: 1.0V to 5.5V with +1.0% initial output tolerance.

· Ultra-low dropout voltage down to 25mV at 10A, filtering out switching frequency noise on input.

· High large signal bandwidth >500kHz and PSRR >40dB at 500kHz.

· Adjustable output voltage down to 1.0V, stable with any output capacitor, and excellent line and load regulation.

· Includes logic-controlled shutdown, current limit protection, and operates from –40°C to +125°C.
