DESCRIPTION

· The SY10EP89V is a differential fanout gate designed for driving coaxial cables.
· It supports 3.3V and 5V power supply options.
· Features a typical toggle frequency of 3.0GHz and a propagation delay of 310ps.
· Provides output swings of 1.6V (5V) and 1.4V (3.3V).
· Includes internal input resistors: pulldown on D, and both pulldown and pullup on /D.
· Offers a new differential input common mode range.
· Available in 8-pin MSOP and SOIC packages.

FEATURES

· Operates at 5V/3.3V with a frequency up to 3GHz.
· Designed as a coaxial cable driver.
· Produces output swings 70% larger than standard ECL outputs.
· Requires proper termination at both ends of the coaxial cable.
· Maintains a swing of 800mV (5V) or 700mV (3.3V) at the receiving end.
· Cannot be terminated into the standard VCC–2.0V due to larger output swings.
· DC parameters tested with a 50 Ω to VCC–3.0V load.
· Accepts standard differential ECL input and can operate with a –5.0V supply.

APPLICATIONS

· Ideal for digital video broadcasting applications.
· Each output can function as an independent driver in polarity-free systems.
