DESCRIPTION

· The 74ALVCH16823 is an 18-bit edge-triggered flip-flop with separate D-type inputs and 3-state outputs for bus-oriented applications.

· It features bushold data inputs, eliminating the need for external pull-up resistors for unused inputs.

· The device consists of two sections of nine edge-triggered flip-flops, each with a clock (nCP), output-enable (nOE), master reset (nMR), and clock-enable (nCE) input.

· The flip-flops store the state of their individual nDn-inputs on the LOW-to-HIGH nCP transition when nCE is LOW.

· The master reset (nMR) input, when LOW, resets all nQn outputs independently of the clock.

· The output-enable (nOE) input controls the output state, with HIGH putting the outputs in a high-impedance OFF-state.
