DESCRIPTION

· The HEF4017B is a 5-stage Johnson decade counter with ten decoded outputs (Q0 to Q9).

· It features an active LOW carry output (Q5-9), active HIGH and LOW clock inputs (CP0, CP1), and an asynchronous master reset (MR).

· The counter advances on specific clock transitions and can be cascaded using the Q5-9 output.

· A HIGH on MR resets the counter to zero, independent of clock inputs.

· It includes automatic counter code correction and operates over a 3 V to 15 V supply range.
