· The bq2201 is a CMOS SRAM Nonvolatile Controller Unit designed to convert standard CMOS SRAM into nonvolatile read/write memory.

· It features a precision comparator for monitoring the 5V VCC input, ensuring write-protection during out-of-tolerance conditions.

· The device switches the external SRAM from the VCC supply to a 3V backup supply during power failures, maintaining data integrity.

· It is compatible with industry standards, offering a chip-enable propagation delay of less than 10ns.
