DESCRIPTION

· The bq2204A is a CMOS SRAM Non-volatile Controller Unit designed for converting up to four banks of standard CMOS SRAM into nonvolatile read/write memory.

· It monitors the 5V VCC input for out-of-tolerance conditions and forces the chip-enable outputs inactive to write-protect SRAM during power failures.

· During power failure, it switches SRAMs from the VCC supply to one of two 3V backup supplies and ensures write-protection until a power-valid condition is restored.
