Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The DS40MB200 is a dual signal conditioning 2:1 multiplexer (MUX) and 1:2 fan-out buffer designed for backplane-redundancy applications.

· It features continuous time linear equalization (CTLE) and programmable output pre-emphasis, supporting data communication up to 4 Gbps in FR4 backplanes.

· Each input stage includes a fixed equalizer to reduce intersymbol interference, and output drivers offer four selectable pre-emphasis steps to compensate for transmission losses.

· Internal loopback paths enable at-speed system testing, and all receiver inputs and drivers are internally terminated.



FEATURES

· Operates at 1-Gbps to 4-Gbps with low jitter.

· Fixed input equalization and programmable output pre-emphasis.

· Independent pre-emphasis controls for switch and line side drivers.

· Programmable switch-side loopback mode.

· On-chip terminations and 3.3-V supply.

· 6-kV HBM ESD rating and 48-leadless WQFN package (7 mm × 7 mm).

· Operating temperature range from 0°C to +85°C.
