DESCRIPTION

· The LDC0851 is a close-range inductive switch designed for contactless applications like presence detection and event counting.
· It triggers when a conductive object nears the sensing coil, with hysteresis ensuring reliable switching.
· The differential design prevents false triggers from environmental factors like temperature or humidity.
· It operates without an MCU, offering a simple solution.
· Inductive sensing ensures reliability in harsh environments, unaffected by dirt, oil, or moisture.
· Solid-state switching eliminates failures common in reed, mechanical, or contact switches.
· Unlike competitors, it doesn't require magnets and is immune to DC magnetic fields.
