DESCRIPTION

· The LMH6525/6526 is a laser diode driver designed for combination DVD/CD recordable and rewritable systems.

· It features two high-current outputs for reading and writing with DVD (650nm) and CD (780nm) lasers.

· Includes four separate switched current channels for read, write, and erase functions.

· Channel currents are summed at the selected output to generate multilevel waveforms for optical disc operations.

· Optimized for speed and power consumption to meet next-generation system demands.

· LMH6525 has Differential Enable Oscillator Inputs; LMH6526 has Single Ended Enable Oscillator Inputs.

· Fast switching with rise and fall times of 0.6/1.0 ns.

· Dual output selectable by SELA/B pin (Active HIGH).
