DESCRIPTION

· The LTC4359 is a high-voltage ideal diode controller designed to drive an external N-channel MOSFET, replacing Schottky diodes.
· It ensures smooth current delivery with controlled forward-voltage drop, even under light loads.
· Features fast turn-off to minimize reverse current transients during power source failure or short circuits.
· Includes a shutdown mode reducing quiescent current to 9μA (load switch) or 14µA (ideal diode).
· Reduces power consumption, heat dissipation, voltage loss, and PCB area in high-current diode applications.
