Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The Nx556 and Sx556 devices integrate two independent timing circuits, similar to the NA555, NE555, SA555, or SE555 types, within a single package. These circuits function in either astable or monostable modes, utilizing external resistor-capacitor (RC) timing control. The timing is actively managed by modulating the bias of the control-voltage input. Each timer features a trigger level at approximately one-third and a threshold level at two-thirds of the supply voltage, adjustable via the control voltage pin (CONT). The reset input (RESET) can override other inputs to initiate a new timing cycle. Unused inputs should be tied to an appropriate logic level to avoid false triggering.
