Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The SN54F373 and SN74F373 are 8-bit transparent D-type latches with 3-state outputs, designed for driving highly capacitive or low-impedance loads.

· These latches are suitable for buffer registers, I/O ports, bidirectional bus drivers, and working registers.

· The outputs follow the data inputs when the latch-enable (LE) is high and are latched when LE is low.

· The output-enable (OE) input controls the output state, allowing normal logic or high-impedance states without affecting internal latch operations.



FEATURES

· Eight latches in a single package.

· 3-state bus-driving true outputs.

· Full parallel access for loading.

· Buffered control inputs.

· Available in various package options including SOIC, SSOP, ceramic chip carriers, and DIPs.

· SN54F373 operates over a military temperature range of -55°C to 125°C; SN74F373 operates from 0°C to 70°C.
