Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The ONET1151L is a 3.3-V laser driver designed for direct modulation of lasers at data rates from 1 to 11.3 Gbps.

· It features a 2-wire serial interface for digital control of modulation and bias currents, eliminating the need for external components.

· The device includes an integrated automatic power control (APC) loop and supports laser safety and transceiver management systems.

· It operates from -40°C to +100°C and is available in a 4-mm × 4-mm, 24-pin RoHS-compliant QFN package, pin-compatible with the ONET1101L device.



FEATURES

· Digitally selectable modulation current up to 85mApp (10-Ω Load) and bias current up to 100-mA source or sink.

· Includes a 2-wire digital interface with integrated DACs and ADC for control and diagnostic management.

· Features adjustable output resistance, de-emphasis, and programmable input equalizer.

· Offers cross-point control, selectable monitor PD current range and polarity, and laser safety features.

· Operates on a single +3.3-V supply.
