DESCRIPTION

· The OPT8320 is a high-performance, highly-integrated 3D Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor from TI's 3D ToF image sensor family. It features a versatile timing generator, an optimized ADC, a depth engine, and an illumination driver, designed for array depth sensing.



FEATURES

· 80x60 imaging array with a 1/6" sensor format and 30µm pixel pitch.
· Scalable frame rate up to 1000 FPS depth output with an internal raw rate of 4000 FPS.
· Optical properties include 0.35 A/W responsivity at 850nm, 70% demodulation contrast at 50MHz, and a demodulation frequency range from 10MHz to 100MHz.
· Digital Video Port (DVP) with 8 data lanes and Synchronous Serial Interface (SSI) with 1 data lane.
· Built-in timing generator for modulation control, de-aliasing, and high dynamic range operation.
· Depth engine supports pixel binning, de-aliasing, histogram, and calibration.
· Power supply options include 3.3-V I/O, 1.8-V analog, digital, I/O, and demodulation.
· Optimized optical package with an integrated optical band-pass filter (830 nm to 867 nm) and optical fiducials for alignment.
· Built-in illumination driver for low-power applications.
· Operating temperature range from 0°C to 70°C.
