DESCRIPTION

· The PCF8883 is a capacitive touch and proximity switch IC that detects changes in capacitance on a remote sensing plate using a patented digital method.

· It features continuous auto-calibration to compensate for static capacitance changes.

· The sensing plate can be connected directly or remotely via a coaxial cable.
