DESCRIPTION
· The PCF85363A is a low-power CMOS Real-Time Clock (RTC) and calendar with automatic battery switch-over on main power loss.
· It supports stop-watch mode, three time log registers, clock output, two independent interrupt signals, two alarms, I2C interface, quartz crystal calibration, and 64-byte battery-backed RAM.
FEATURES
· UL Recognized Component (PCF85363ATL).
· Provides year, month, day, weekday, hours, minutes, seconds, and 100th seconds based on a 32.768 kHz quartz crystal.
· Stop-watch mode for elapsed time counting (100th seconds to 999,999 hours).
· Two independent alarms, battery back-up circuit, and WatchDog timer.
· Three timestamp registers and two independent interrupt generators.
· 64-byte battery-backed RAM and frequency adjustment via programmable offset register.
· Low current: 0.28 μA at VDD = 3.0 V and Tamb = 25 °C.
· 400 kHz I2C-bus interface (VDD = 1.8 V to 5.5 V).
· Programmable clock output (32.768 kHz to 1 Hz).
· Configurable oscillator circuit for various quartz crystals (CL = 6 pF, 7 pF, 12.5 pF).
