DESCRIPTION



· The TC74VHCT574A is a high-speed CMOS octal D-type flip-flop with 3-state outputs, fabricated using silicon gate C2MOS technology.

· It operates at speeds comparable to Bipolar Schottky TTL while maintaining low CMOS power dissipation.

· Controlled by a clock (CK) and output enable (OE) input, it features TTL-compatible input voltages and can be used as a level converter between 3.3V and 5V systems.

· Input and output protection ensures safe operation with voltages from 0 to 5.5V, regardless of supply voltage.



FEATURES



· High-speed operation: fmax = 140 MHz (typical) at VCC = 5V.

· Low power consumption: ICC = 4 μA (maximum) at Ta = 25°C.

· TTL input compatibility: VIL = 0.8V (maximum), VIH = 2.0V (minimum).

· Balanced propagation delays: tPLH ≈ tPHL.

· Low noise: VOLP = 1.5V (maximum).

· Pin and function compatible with 74 series 574 type devices.
