DESCRIPTION

· The GreenChip™II is a second-generation SMPS controller IC designed for cost-effective power supplies with minimal external components.
· It supports fixed frequency CCM for low voltage, high current applications and operates in cycle skipping mode at low power levels to minimize switching losses.
· The IC features quasi-resonant operation at high power levels and fixed frequency operation with valley switching at medium power levels.
· It utilizes a high voltage BCD800 process for direct start-up from rectified mains voltage and includes a low voltage BICMOS IC for protection and control functions.
