Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The TEA1713 integrates a Power Factor Corrector (PFC) controller and a Half-Bridge resonant Converter (HBC) controller in a multi-chip IC.
· It drives discrete MOSFETs in an up-converter and a resonant half-bridge configuration.
· Ensures efficient PFC operation with quasi-resonant and valley skipping modes.
· Includes OverCurrent Protection (OCP), OverVoltage Protection (OVP), and demagnetization sensing.
· The HBC module is a high-voltage controller for zero-voltage switching LLC resonant converters.
· Fabricated using a high-voltage Bipolar-CMOS-DMOS process for efficient direct start-up.
· Utilizes a low-voltage Silicon On Insulator (SOI) chip for accurate, high-speed protection and control.
