DESCRIPTION



· The TVP5150AM1 is an ultralow-power NTSC/PAL/SECAM video decoder.

· Available in 48-terminal PBGA or 32-terminal TQFP packages.

· Converts NTSC, PAL, and SECAM video signals to 8-bit ITU-R BT.656 format.

· Features discrete syncs and optimized architecture for ultralow power consumption.

· Consumes 115 mW in typical operation and less than 1 mW in power-down mode.

· Uses a single crystal for all supported standards.

· Programmable via I2C serial interface.

· Accepts NTSC, PAL, and SECAM video standards.

· Supports ITU-R BT.601 standard sampling.

· High-speed 9-bit ADC with fully differential CMOS analog preprocessing.

· Two composite inputs or one S-Video input.

· Advanced programmable video output formats including ITU-R BT.656.

· Macrovision™ copy protection detection.

· Brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, and sharpness control via I2C.

· Complementary 4-line adaptive comb filters for noise reduction.

· Internal PLL for line-locked clock and sampling.

· Industrial temperature range: -40°C to 85°C.

· Qualified for automotive applications (AEC-Q100 Rev G).
