Description

Each monostable section can be triggered by:
• Negative edge on nA (with nB = HIGH)
• Positive edge on nB (with nA = LOW)
Retriggering extends the pulse while inputs remain active.
A LOW on nRD terminates the pulse immediately and forces nQ = LOW, nQ = HIGH.
Schmitt-trigger inputs (except nRD) accept slow edges (>1 µs).
Clamp diodes on all inputs allow use with higher-voltage buses via series resistor.

Hints

Power-up pulse suppression – connect 10 kΩ pull-up on nRD and 100 nF to GND.
Power-down protection – add Schottky diode across CEXT if >1 µF.
Noise immunity – keep REXT ≤ 1 MΩ and CEXT leads <20 mm.
Duty cycle – can reach 100 % by continuous retriggering.
Synchronisation – use common nRD strobe for both halves.
