DESCRIPTION

· The 74HC194 is a 4-bit bidirectional universal shift register with synchronous operation controlled by mode select inputs (S0, S1).

· It supports parallel load mode, serial shift left, and serial shift right operations.

· Asynchronous master reset (MR) forces Q outputs LOW when activated.

· Mode select and data inputs are edge-triggered, responding to the LOW-to-HIGH clock transition.
