DESCRIPTION

· The Texas Instruments bq27421-G1 fuel gauge is a microcontroller peripheral designed for system-side fuel gauging in single-cell Li-Ion batteries.

· It supports both embedded and removable batteries and is powered directly from the battery with an integrated LDO.

· The device uses the patented Impedance Track™ algorithm to provide accurate battery capacity, state-of-charge, and voltage information.

· It features a low-value integrated sense resistor (7mΩ, typical) and requires minimal user configuration.
